Nacon, under court-supervised restructuring proceedings since March 2, 2026, posted revenue of 40.7m for the second quarter of its 2026-2027 fiscal year, down 13% year over year, penalized by an unfavorable base effect in new releases.
Catalog revenue fell 40% to 13.7m, despite strong performances from The Mound and Tour de France 26. Back Catalog revenue remained virtually stable, up 0.9% to 14.1m, while Accessories increased 28.7% to 11.6m, driven by the recovery of the US market and the success of RIG headsets. For the first half as a whole, revenue fell 6.1% to 73.3m.
At the same time, the group is continuing its restructuring plan, marked by the closure of three entities and a reduction in its workforce from 1,125 to 814 employees between March and September 2026. Having been placed under court-supervised restructuring proceedings, Nacon is expected to submit its restructuring plan to the court shortly.
For the third quarter, TP ICAP Midcap expects business to improve, supported by new releases, a more favorable base effect and a recovery in Accessories. The research firm is nevertheless keeping the stock under review, pending greater visibility on the group's situation.
