Producers of metals, grains and other raw materials fell amid anxiety ahead of Kevin Warsh's debut speech at the Jackson Hole, Wyo., central-banking conference.
Wheat futures hit a three-year high in Chicago as escalating Russia-Ukraine tensions in the Black Sea cut off supplies from one of the world's principal bread baskets.
