Monarca Minerals Inc. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is focused on the acquisition and development of silver and base metal properties in Mexico. The Company holds interests in three mineral projects, which include Tejamen, San Lucas, and San Jose. The Company’s Tejamen property is located approximately 130 km northwest of Durango, the capital of the State of Durango and consists of approximately 23 mineral concessions covering approximately 1,685 hectares. The San Lucas Property is located 86 km north of the city of Durango and accessed via a paved highway and consists of approximately eight mineral concessions covering 79.6 hectares. The San Jose Property is located in Chihuahua, Mexico near the United States border, approximately 125 kilometers (km) west of El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. The property is also located 52 km northwest of the underground Bismark Mine operated by Grupo Penoles.
