Mr. Ross A. Killian is a Managing Director & Global Head of Investment Risk at TCW Asset Management Co. LLC.
In this role, he leads the Investment Risk & Quantitative Research Group which supports cross-asset market risk management, performance decomposition and attribution, security and portfolio analytics, derivatives risk management, and quantitative research to enhance investment risk management across the firm.
He has over 30 years of industry experience.
Prior to TCW, Mr. Killian spent 5 years at Royal Bank of Canada where he served as Head of Strategy for the Quantitative Analytics group and led two major market risk transformation programs.
Before joining RBC, he was Head of Risk for a small broker dealer, and previously was lead desk strategist for MBS at Morgan Stanley.
Earlier in his career, he was Head of Financial Engineering at RBS Greenwich Capital.
He earned a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business.
