Klaus Esswein is Managing Director and Senior Investment Manager of both State Street Global Advisors GmbH, the German subsidiary of SSgA Boston and SSgA AG in Switzerland.
He joined SSgA in 1997 bringing with him 15 years of experience in portfolio management.
From 1994 to 1997, he was Managing Director at ADIG-Investment, one of the leading mutual fund companies in Germany.
From 1990 to 1994, Mr. Esswein was Head of Securities Trading and Asset Management at Bayerische Vereinsbank, Munich.
He studied law at Munich, Lausanne and Geneva Universities.
