Justin Gmelich

Mr. Justin G.
Gmelich is a Co-Chief Investment Officer at Millennium Management LLC.
He is on the Board of Directors at Trinity Hall and Villanova University.
He is responsible for partnering with the firm’s investment business heads across strategies and asset classes.
Prior to joining Millennium, Mr. Gmelich held several senior roles at King Street and Goldman Sachs.
At King Street, Justin was a Partner & Global Head of Markets.
He served as a Member of the firm’s Management, Global Investment, Real Estate Investment and Risk Committees.
Over the course of his more than 20 year career at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Gmelich was a Managing Director & Partner, and held several senior roles.
He was most recently Global Chief Operating Officer for Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities, and prior to that, Global Head of Credit Trading.
Mr. Gmelich was also a Member of several senior committees and councils at Goldman Sachs, including the Management Committee, Partnership Committee, Securities Division Executive Committee, firm-wide Risk Committee, GS Bank’s Management Committee and Global Recruiting Council.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Gmelich held positions at Chase and Salomon Brothers.
He received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University, a graduate degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA from The Trustees of Columbia University in The City of New York.
