Joe Rizzo

Mr. Joseph M.
Rizzo is an Investment Manager at Clear Harbor Asset Management LLC.
He also co-manages a select number of investment accounts for non-profit organizations, family entities and high-net-worth individuals.
He joined the firm in March 2010 and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
He has over 30 years of experience in the investment management industry as an analyst, portfolio manager, technologist, venture capitalist, risk arbitrageur and special situations investor.
Mr. Rizzo previously was employed by Ingalls & Snyder LLC, where he was a Portfolio Manager for individual and institutional clients, including serving as general partner and founder of I&S Technology Partners LP, an investment fund focused on the technology sector.
Prior to joining Ingalls & Snyder, he served as Chief Operating Officer at SynData Technologies Inc., a security software company.
Before joining SynData, he spent six years as an analyst for JWS Partners, a special situations and arbitrage hedge fund, and Ingalls & Snyder LLC.
He began his professional career spending six years developing and implementing complex transaction and risk management software systems at a major New York City bank and at Morgan Stanley & Co. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University, holds a Masters of Business Administration from New York University, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
