Profile
Scott Case is the Head of SVB's Private Bank, as well as a Managing Director with the Venture Capital and Private Equity groups at Silicon Valley Bank’s Sand Hill Road office.
Scott works with the Private Bank team to provide a broad suite of personal lending and banking products to the General Partner investor community.
In the Relationship Management role, he oversees strategic relationships across investors and their portfolio companies by leveraging the diverse financial services of the SVB Financial Group.
Before joining SVB in 2010, Case held operating roles with various Silicon Valley technology companies including CFO of FaceTime Communications, CFO of GO Networks, and CEO of Silicon Motion, among others.
Prior to these roles, Case opened GE Equity’s west coast office in San Francisco where he ran the technology infrastructure investing group.
He also worked at J.P.
Morgan and McKinsey & Co.
Case holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business, and a Bachelor’s of Arts in English from Wake Forest University.
He earned a Master’s of Business Administration from UNC at Chapel Hill.
