Gerald Birin

Executive Chairman, joined Amherst in 1998, after serving as CFO of Rampage Clothing Company and Rampage Retail, Inc. Birin directed all day-to-day financial functions, human resources, and IS for both companies, with combined sales of $250 million.
While at Rampage, Birin led the companies through a major transformation, resulting in the successful divestiture of the retail company and a more efficient reorganization of Rampage Clothing Company.
Previously, Birin was executive vice president, CFO, and a member of the board of directors for Reddi Brake Supply Corporation, Ventura, Calif.
During his tenure at Reddi Brake, Birin successfully completed two rounds of public financing.
