Scintillator single crystals are used in positron emission tomography (PET) scanners for cancer diagnosis. Laser light sources are used in quality inspection equipment for silicon wafers. Its business is divided into three areas. Semiconductor business develops, manufactures and sells single crystals and lasers for semiconductor wafer inspection equipment manufacturers. Healthcare business develops, manufactures and sells scintillator single crystals used in PET scanners. New areas business develops, manufactures and sells single crystals, optical components, laser light sources and optical measuring instruments.
