Morpol ASA is a Norway-based company engaged in the production and marketing of salmon products. It has three segments: fish farming salmon, fish farming other species and fish processing. The Company's operations include purchasing, processing, packaging and marketing of primarily smoked and marinated salmon products, including cold and hot smoked salmon, gravadlax, chilled fresh salmon fillets, frozen salmon portions, organic salmon, wild salmon and salmon specialties. Its processing plants are located in Poland and the United Kingdom, while the farming activities are located in the United Kingdom and Norway. The Company's products are sold across Europe, in the United States and Japan. The Company has over 30 subsidiaries, such as the wholly owned Laurin Seafood Sp. z o.o., Morpol VAP Sp. z o.o., Waynor Trading AS, Laschinger Seafood GmbH and Morpol France SAS, among others. In November 2013, in two acquisitions Marine Harvest ASA acquired all remaining shares in the Company.
