The Handeni Gold properties lie within the Handeni artisanal gold mining district, located in Tanga Province, approximately 175 kilometers (km) northwest of Tanzania's city, Dar Es Salaam, and about 100 km southwest of the more northerly coastal city of Tanga. The total area held by the Company in the Handeni district is approximately 236.65 square kilometers.
