Foxby Corp. (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is total return which it may seek from growth of capital and from income in any security type and in any industry sector. The Fund may invest in equity and fixed income securities of new and seasoned United States and foreign issuers, including securities convertible into common stock, debt securities, futures, options, derivatives, and other instruments. The Fund invests in various sectors, including insurance carriers, computer programming, data processing, primary metal, automotive dealers and gasoline service stations, non-depository credit institutions, home furniture, furnishings, and equipment stores, equipment rental and leasing, general merchandise stores, building construction general contractors and operative builders, and miscellaneous retail. Midas Management Corporation serves as the investment manager of the Fund.
