The principal activity of the Company is investing in securities listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. The Company's investment objectives are to achieve medium to long-term capital growth and income through investing in a diversified portfolio of Australian companies; to preserve and enhance the net tangible assets (NTA) backing per share; and to provide Company shareholders with a fully franked dividend, which over time, will grow at a rate in excess of the rate of inflation. The Company focuses on maintaining at least 90% of available funds in equity investments at all times with the balance in cash and equivalent. The Company's portfolio of investments comprises companies with a sustainable competitive advantage whose operations cover a wide spectrum of business activities.
