The Bank’s primary business is that of a traditional banking institution, gathering deposits and originating loans for portfolio in its respective primary market areas. The Bank offers a wide variety of deposit products to its consumer and commercial clients. The Bank is also an active participant in the secondary market, originating residential loans for sale with servicing retained. The Bank's subsidiary, Mitchell, Reed and Schmitten Insurance, Inc. (MRS), is an insurance agency and brokers that offers personal and commercial lines of insurance, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance. The Bank operates over 11 branches in North Central Washington.
