Vivienne Taberer

Ms. Vivienne Taberer is a Portfolio Specialist at Ninety One Asset Management Namibia (Pty) Ltd.
and an Investment Specialist of Fixed Income at Ninety One SA (Pty) Ltd.
She is focusing on Emerging Market Fixed Income Strategies.
In addition she plays a key role in shaping the firm's sovereign sustainability framework.
As a founding member of the EMD team at Ninety One and prior to that part of the South African Fixed Income Team she has extensive experience as a portfolio manager and as a regional specialist covering Southern African and Latin American bond and currency markets.
Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Ms. Taberer worked at Standard Bank in London for seven years, initially specializing in South African fixed income before moving into sales and trading across the whole spectrum of emerging market debt.
Prior to this, she worked at Mizuho International in London and First National Bank trading South African bonds, bond options, FRAs and swaps.
Ms. Taberer graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Laws degree and has completed the London School of Business Investment Management Programme.
