Storebrand Investments is an active manager which aims to outperform the market on a mid- to long-term basis. They manage portfolios invested globally in fixed-income, money market instruments, real estate and equity which they measure against relevant benchmarks. They do not invest in companies that contribute to human rights violations, corruption, environmental damage, landmine production, cluster bombs, nuclear weapons or tobacco. The firm utilizes the Delphi method, combining trend analysis and fundamental analysis, to build model portfolios. Regions, sectors, segments, or individual securities are weighted and the results measured against different market indexes. They utilize a bottom-up approach to select stock, based on the fundamental analysis of targeted companies. Storebrand Investments' mutual funds are all subject to social responsibility guidelines.
