Timon LeDain

Mr. Timon LeDain is a Director-Screening & Evaluation at Canada Foundation for Sustainable Development Technology.
As Director, Screening and Evaluation, he is responsible for managing the due diligence process and leading the team that assesses the validity, feasibility and performance criteria of applications to the SD Tech Fund.
He brings to SDTC over 20 years of experience in product engineering within the telecommunications, security, healthcare and consumer electronics industry.
Prior to joining SDTC, Mr. LeDain was the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Product Management for neuroLanguage Corp where he was instrumental in the organization’s growth and technology roadmap.
Previously, he was Vice President of Engineering at March Healthcare.He led the sale of March Healthcare to a global multinational in 2006.
Earlier in his career, he founded his own consulting company, TICOM Inc. Mr. LeDain holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo and Masters of Business Administration from Queens University.
He studied at the Technical University of Munich on scholarship from Siemens.
He is also a Certified Management Accountant.
