Thomas E.
Frost is an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of The Mills Corporation.
Mr. Frost joined The Mills Corporation in March, 1995 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Counsel and Secretary and was named General Counsel in May, 1995.
He is responsible for supervising all of the Company's legal affairs, and he manages a department consisting of six attorneys, seven paralegal assistants, and related support staff.
Prior to joining The Mills Corporation, Mr. Frost was General Counsel for St. Louis-based CenterMark Properties, Inc., one of the nation's leading shopping center development/management companies.
He served in this capacity from 1989 to 1995.
From 1984 through 1989, Mr. Frost was Senior Counsel for The May Department Stores Company in St. Louis.
From August, 1981 through September, 1984, Mr. Frost served as counsel for The Edward J.
DeBartolo Corporation of Youngstown, Ohio.
Prior to that, he spent 2 years as an associate at the firm of Olds, Olds & Lynett in Akron, Ohio.
Mr. Frost is a native of Youngstown, Ohio.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Miami University in Miami, Ohio and his law degree at the University Of Akron School Of Law.
He is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Missouri and before the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the International Council of Shopping Centers and of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries.
