Mr. Steve Lane has some 25 years of operational experience both as a CEO & entrepreneur in the Telecommunications & IT industry and therefore understands the challenges faced by budding entrepreneurs in this sector.
He is particularly keen to help improve the entrepreneurial community's understanding of how to do business with Venture Capital firms.
Mr. Lane began his career as an engineer with Telecom Australia and was heavily involved with the early implementation of computer controlled switching systems.
In 1981, he founded and was Managing Director of Lane Telecommunications P/L, which became one of Asia Pacific's leading telecommunication consulting practices.
He has a BE (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Adelaide University.
