Burke, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director at MacKay Shields LLC.

Prior to joining MacKay Shields, Mr. Burke held multiple leadership positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
He was previously the head of Credit Hedge Fund Sales, a group that was responsible for marketing credit & interest rate derivatives, as well as CLOs and structured products to institutional investors.
He also worked in the firm’s private equity group, raising capital for LBO and venture capital funds.
Mr. Burke started his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the municipal bond department covering insurance, hedge fund, and asset management clients.
He received his undergraduate degree from Colgate University and an MBA from Fordham University.
