Dr. Nolan earned a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, where he was a Fuqua Scholar.

in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where he was a Dreyfus Foundation Fellow for his work in molecular physics, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
