Mr. Paul Sarachman, CFA, is a President at ATB Capital Markets, Inc. Mr. Sarachaman is also Vice President of Business at ATB Financial.
He was previously President of AltaCorp Capital, having been with the firm out of its Toronto office since it was opened in 2011.
He has over 30 years of experience and has provided advice to Institutional, Corporate, and Retail clients on both the domestic and international side of Capital Markets opportunities.
He has been in charge of managing sales and trading desks for over 18 years.
Prior to joining AltaCorp, Mr. Sarachaman was Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales at National Bank Financial, the Investment Banking arm of National Bank of Canada, and was also Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales & Trading for Rockwater Capital (Blackmont) until it was acquired by CI Financial.
He has previous experience as a top-ranked institutional sales person at Merrill Lynch, Scotia Capital, and employee owned DFI Securities (purchased by Deutsche Bank Mr. Sarachaman graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Economics and Philosophy.
He has also attained his CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
