Marc Strauch

Marc is a Partner in the Frontier Performance Fund I LLC (“Frontier”) and advisor to Arch River Capital LLC.
He contributes his expertise in providing strategic marketing guidance, brand development, and commercialization strategies for existing portfolio companies of Frontier.
Marc’s core strength is his ability to lead small to large market and commercialization teams to execute on immediate sales opportunities in intense competitive market arenas.
He is an expert in branding and product positioning for traditional and online market strategies.
Marc is able to quickly assess marketing and sales organizations and determine their strengths, gaps, or requirement for restructuring.
Marc has more than 25 years as a performance-based marketing advisor working with Fortune 50 technology companies including Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, Wipro, and Tata Consulting Services, and through Microsoft more than 300 global brands and well as numerous start-up and early-stage companies.
He has co-founded or has been a primary executive in five technology start-ups (media and e-commerce, malware discovery, video-on-demand and digital rights management, search+social, and enterprise middleware) of which three had successful exits.
Marc was a co-founder of Microsoft’s Business Value team and Microsoft’s go-to business value marketing.
Marc and his team were instrumental in launching four versions of Windows Server and Client and MS Office, as well as SharePoint and SharePoint Server, Enterprise Project Management, Tablet PC, Small Business Server, Forms Server, BizTalk Server, Azure, and Windows Phone 7 and 8.
Marc was one of the first at Microsoft, not long after Netscape went public, to write publicly about the business value of the Web for enterprise CXOs and why they needed to rapidly adopt the WWW for all aspects of a business.
