Jason E. Maynard

Mr. Jason E.
Maynard is Co-Founder at Mount Kellett Capital Management LP.
He co-established the firm in 2008.
He is also the Head of Asia at Mount Kellett Capital (Hong Kong) Ltd. He has several years of experience in principal investing with a focus ranging from distressed companies to growth private equity.
Prior to joining the Portfolio Manager, from 1999 to 2007, he was employed at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong, where he rose to the position of Partner and Head of the Asian Special Situations Group.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 1998, he was a key member of the Asian distressed debt teams of Merrill Lynch.
From 1996 to 1998, he was a senior analyst at Chase Manhattan focused largely on Asian industrials.
Mr. Maynard began his career as a high yield and distressed research analyst in 1993 at Citicorp.
He currently serves as a director of Suntech Power, a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of innovative solar energy solutions based in Wuxi China.
Mr. Maynard received his bachelor's degree in East Asia Political Economy from Hamilton College in the United States.
