Dr. Ivan Petzev is a Portfolio Manager Equities & Head of Research at Swiss Rock Asset Management AG.
He joined Swiss Rock Asset Management AG in early 2018 after completing his PhD studies in Banking & Finance at the University of Zurich.
Prior to joining Swiss Rock, he gained practical experience in the financial industry, particularly in the areas of alternative investments and lending.
He has also worked with leading researchers from the University of Zurich, Harvard University and the Bank for International Settlements.
During his PhD, he conducted empirical financial market research at the University of Zurich and the University of California San Diego.
Among other things, he researched which factors influence stock returns and how efficiently information is processed in the market.
