Mr. Landy is the co-founder of Washington Capital Ventures (“WCV”) and has served as its Managing Partner since the fall of 2001.
Prior to launching WCV, he held the positions of Vice President Marketing and Operations of the Telephony Internet Services Unit at Cisco Systems from 1998 until late 2000.
During this time, he was involved in the formation of the International Softswitch Consortium group, which focused on accelerating IP voice and multimedia applications.
In 1996, he co-founded Lightspeed International, an innovator in voice signaling translation technology, where he remained as Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Operations until the company’s acquisition by Cisco Systems in 1998.
Previously, he held senior marketing roles with Cable & Wireless, BT Syncordia and MCI/Concert.
