Mr. Fan Ye, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Aecus Partners UK Ltd. He is also a Global Strategy Investment Team Member and his global company research and idea generation also support the investment team’s European strategies.
Mr. Ye joined Aecus in 2025 and brings over 15 years of experience specialising in global equity, spanning both long only and long/short strategies.
From 2022 to 2025 he solo managed a global long/short fund under the name of Ginkyo Asset Management, a firm he founded to manage assets for a group of private investors.
Previously, he worked for Majedie Asset Management from 2012 to 2021, focussing on the Tortoise Fund, the UK Equity fund and the UK Focus fund, representing over £10bn of assets.
Mr. Ye holds a Master of Science (Hons) in Astrophysics from the University of Cambridge.
He is a CFA charterholder.
