Eric Pai

Prior to joining Citigroup Alternative Investments in November 2005, Mr. Pai worked at Bankers Trust Company and its successor Deutsche Bank from 1987 to 2005.
He was a founding member of the Absolute Return Strategies Group within Deutsche Asset Management, where he was the Management Team member responsible for the $4 billion Single Manager Fund business.
His responsibilities included assessing business viability, product design and positioning, recruiting portfolio management teams, day-to-day risk management and allocating bank capital.
Mr. Pai also headed Structured Products for ARS, overseeing programs and transactions using various capital markets techniques.
He created the $500mm Global Equity Managers multi-manager strategy of internal equity funds.
Mr. Pai received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1987 and a B.S.E.
in Engineering Systems from Princeton University (Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude) in 1983.
