Crista Pérez

Ms. Crista Pérez is an Economist at Casa de Bolsa BBVA Bancomer SA de CV.
Prior to joining BBVA, she worked as Director of International Liaison, in the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), where she was responsible for negotiating topics of financial services and capital movements in international agreements and forums, such as the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
She collaborated in the development of a strategy to reduce the use of cash, in matters of green finance and anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing.
Previously, she worked in the Secretariat of Economy where she analysed regulations of several sectors within the scope of international agreements.
Ms. Pérez holds BA in Economics from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, a BA in International Business from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, and a Diploma in Financial Markets and Risks Analysis from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
