Mr. Ashvin Viswanathan, CFA, is a Senior Equity Portfolio Manager at Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc. He has extensive knowledge of quantitative research and portfolio management of U.S.
and global equities.
His experience with managing quantitative equity portfolios serves him well in his current role.
Ash is also a key contributor to the firm's asset allocation factor framework.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Viswanathan was an Investment Research Analyst at Zephyr Management LP where he assisted in managing both benchmark aware and absolute return oriented emerging market strategies using a proprietary quantitative discipline.
Before joining Zephyr, he was a member of the global equity team as the senior portfolio engineer at Guardian Capital LP in Toronto, Canada.
He was responsible for R&D on the firm’s proprietary stock selection/risk platform as well as assisting in managing the various long, long-short, and dividend mandates run by the team.
He has over 11 years of industry experience.
He holds a Bachelor of Mathematics, Honors Computer Science degree from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Mathematical Finance degree from the University of Toronto.
He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
