Universal Microelectronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,088.953 million compared to TWD 772.821 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 22.371 million compared to operating loss of TWD 43.648 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 9.811 million compared to net loss of TWD 35.256 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.08 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.28 a year ago.
