Universal Microelectronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 853.626 million compared to TWD 894.890 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 64.749 million compared to net income of TWD 28.193 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.51 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.22 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,810.688 million compared to TWD 1,818.030 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 64.464 million compared to net income of TWD 8.554 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.51 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.07 a year ago.
