Universal Microelectronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 870.186 million compared to TWD 853.626 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 16.993 million compared to TWD 46.032 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 36.968 million compared to TWD 64.749 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.29 compared to TWD 0.51 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,643.007 million compared to TWD 1,810.688 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 60.641 million compared to TWD 68.718 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 72.224 million compared to TWD 64.464 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.57 compared to TWD 0.51 a year ago.
