Universal Microelectronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 772.821 million compared to TWD 957.062 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 43.648 million compared to TWD 22.686 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 35.256 million compared to net income of TWD 285,000 a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.28. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.28.
