Springer SA, formerly Springer Refrigeracao SA, is a Brazil-based holding company primarily engaged in the industry of plastics processing. As of December 31, 2011, the Company held stakes in four companies: Springer Plasticos da Amazonia SA, which is involved in the plastic injection molding and manufacture of plastic parts for electronics and two-wheeled vehicles; Ziemann-Liess Maquinas e Equipamentos Ltda, which is active in the production, sale and rental of equipment for the beverage and food industry, including machines for production lines and tanks for transportation; Plastwal Latino Americana Industria e Comercio Ltda and Nordeplast Industria e Comercio de Plasticos Ltda, which are engaged in the manufacture, processing and marketing of laminated plastics and resins.
