Pioneer Floating Rate Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The investment objective of the Fund is to seek a high level of current income, and the Fund may, as a secondary objective, also seek capital appreciation to the extent that it is consistent with its investment objective. The Fund invests primarily in floating rate loans and other floating rate investments. Under normal market conditions, the Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its assets (net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes) in senior floating rate loans. It invests in various sectors, which include consumer, healthcare, technology, communications, basic industry, capital goods, financials, banks, insurance, transportation, utilities, energy, and others. The Fund’s investment adviser is Amundi Asset Management US, Inc.
