Oxford Technology Venture Capital Trust Plc is a United Kingdom-based venture capital trust (VCT). The Company focuses on investing in early stage and start-up technology companies. It has holdings in four companies, namely Arecor Therapeutics Plc (Arecor), BioCote Ltd (BioCote), Getmapping Plc, Scancell Holdings Plc (Scancell) and STL Management Limited (Select Technology). The Company's subsidiary OT1 Managers Ltd helps to provides investment management services to the Company. Arecor is a biopharmaceutical company that focuses on delivering enhanced reformulations of its partner's therapeutic products. BioCote is engaged in supplying the material, formulated for the needs of each customer, and the coating is then applied in the customers' factories, which is anti-microbial. Scancell is focused on developing immunotherapies for cancer that stimulate the body's own immune system. Select Technology specializes in software for photocopiers known as Multi-Function Devices (MFDs).
