Ochi Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE:3166) signed an agreement to acquire Ehime Precut Co., Inc. from an undisclosed seller for ¥1.4 billion on May 7, 2018. Under the terms of the transaction, Ochi Holdings Co., Ltd. will acquire 200 shares of Ehime Precut Co., Inc. Upon completion, Ehime Precut Co., Inc. will operate as subsidiary of Ochi Holdings Co., Ltd. The transaction was resolved by the Board of Ochi Holdings Co., Ltd. on May 7, 2018. The transaction is expected to close on May 10, 2018.

OCHI HOLDINGS CO., LTD. is primarily engaged in the building material business, life business and processing business. The Company has three business segments. The Building Material segment sells housing related materials purchased from domestic building materials manufacturers, agents and trading companies to domestic building materials and lumber dealers, house manufacturers, general contractors, construction companies and home centers. The Life segment is involved in the purchase and sale of household goods such as heating equipment and others to supermarkets, home centers and drug stores in Hokkaido, Tohoku and Kanto areas. The Processing segment is engaged in the purchase of building materials, as well as the processing, assembly and sale of precursor structures mainly for wooden houses.
