Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will continue to power the Williams Racing F1 team until at least the 2030 season.

Williams thus becomes the second of the marque's customer teams to benefit from its powertrains beyond 2026, the year in which new regulations for engine blocks come into force.

As a reminder, Mercedes-AMG has already been powering the Grove-based team since 2014 and the start of the 1.6-liter V6 hybrid era.
2023 already marked the 10th year of partnership between Mercedes-Benz and Williams.

' It's fantastic to extend our partnership with Williams Racing until 2030. We have enjoyed a strong relationship with them since the introduction of the current powertrain regulations, and we look forward to continuing that into the next era' commented Markus Schaefer, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Head of Technology
