Fundsmith Emerging Equities Trust plc is an investment trust. The Company provides shareholders with an attractive return by investing in a portfolio of shares issued by listed or traded companies which have the majority of their operations in, or revenue derived from, developing economies and which provide direct exposure to the rise of the consumer classes in those countries or to the broader social and/or economic development of those countries. It maintains a portfolio diversified by issuer concentration and its portfolio normally comprise 25 to 40 investments. Not more than 40% of its gross assets can be invested in shares issued by companies domiciled in any single jurisdiction and not more than 5% of the Company's gross assets can be invested in shares issued by any single company. Its holdings in any combination of shares or deposits issued by a single company or fund does not exceed 20% of its gross assets overall. Fundsmith LLP is the investment manager of the Company.
