René W. Keller is to join Deutsche Bank as Chief Information Officer (CIO), Private, Wealth & Commercial Clients (PW&CC).

He will join the Bank on 1 June 2016 and report to Kim Hammonds, Group Chief Operating Officer. He will be based in Eschborn, Germany.

René is currently Group CIO at Deutsche Börse, where he is responsible for information technology solutions and service delivery. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of the financial software company Information Mosaic. Earlier in his career, René worked in technology roles at Swiss Life, Credit Suisse and UBS.

He has a degree in computer science from the Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich.

His appointment follows the recent announcements of Peter Wharton-Hood as Head of Operations, Global Markets, Head of Global Client Lifecycle Management and Head of the Chief Operating Office for UK and Ireland, and Pascal Boillat, CIO and Head of Operations, Corporate & Investment Banking.
