CatchMark Timber Trust, Inc. (CatchMark Timber Trust) owns and operates timberlands located in the United States. CatchMark Timber Trust acquires, owns, operates, manages, and disposes of timberland properties directly, through wholly owned subsidiaries, or through joint ventures. CatchMark Timber Trust conducts substantially all of its business through CatchMark Timber Operating Partnership, L.P. (CatchMark Timber OP). Its segments include Harvest, Real Estate and Investment Management. The Harvest segment includes wholly owned timber assets and associated timber sales. The Real Estate segment includes timberland sales, cost of timberland sales and large dispositions. The Investment Management segment includes investments in and income from joint ventures. CatchMark Timber Trust owns interests in approximately 369,700 acres of industrial timberlands located in the United States South, consisting of approximately 14.6 million tons of merchantable timber inventory.
