Bank of London and The Middle East plc (BLME) is a United Kingdom-based company, which is an independent wholesale bank involved in investment, corporate banking, private client banking and asset management. The Bank provides a range of Sharia'a compliant banking services to businesses and individuals with a focus on Europe and the Middle East. BLME has three business divisions: Corporate Banking, Wealth Management and Treasury offering financial products and services. Corporate Banking provides debt financing for the United Kingdom mid-market companies ranging from the Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE250) companies to family owned businesses. Wealth Management includes the Bank's complementary businesses of Private Banking and Asset Management. The Treasury Division funds the Bank's financing activities in Corporate Banking and Wealth Management, manages the Bank's capital and liquidity, and provides Sharia'a compliant hedging, yield and foreign exchange (FX) structures.
