Besra Gold Inc. (Besra) is an Australia-based gold mining company focused on exploration and development of the Bau Goldfield in East Malaysia. Besra controls, directly and indirectly, a 97.8% interest in the Bau Gold Project located in Sarawak, East Malaysia. The Bau Gold Project is located approximately 30-40 kilometer (km) from Kuching, the capital city of the province of Sarawak, Malaysia on the island of Borneo. The Bau Gold Project contains multiple brownfield exploration projects and hosts a combined resource of 72.6 megaton at 1.43 grams per ton of gold for 3.3 million ounces of gold as well as an exploration target ranging between 4.9 and 9.3 million ounces. The project is serviced by various infrastructure, including access to deep water ports, international airport, grid power, communications and a range of service providers.
