Private equity firm EQT has completed its share repurchase program, according to a press release.
The announcement follows the company's repurchase of just over 331,000 shares between May 4 and May 8, bringing the total number of shares bought back to approximately 3 million for a total consideration of SEK 885.6 million. The aggregate amount of repurchased shares corresponds to the full size of the program, as initially announced by EQT on March 4.
EQT now holds a total of 65.2 million treasury shares. The total number of outstanding shares in the company amounts to 1,169.9 million.
EQT AB is one of the leading private equity fund management companies in Europe. The group also provides investment advisory services. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- management of private equity funds (59.9%);
- management of real estate and infrastructure funds (38.3%);
- other (1.8%).
At the end of 2025, EQT AB had EUR 270 billion in assets under management.
