Zaidi Sattar

Zaidi Sattar is the Chairman and founder of the Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh, which was founded in 2008.
He is currently a Director at Industrial & Infrastructure Development Finance Bank Co. Ltd., Southeast Bank Foundation, Venture Investment Partners Bangladesh Ltd., and a Lecturer at the University of Dhaka.
He is also a Member of The American Alumni Association and the Bangladesh Economic Association.
Dr. Sattar previously served as an Independent & Depositor Director at Southeast Bank Plc from 2013 to 2014.
He was also an Independent Director at Bay Leasing & Investment Ltd. and Asia Insurance Ltd. Additionally, he was an Associate Professor at The Catholic University of America.
Dr. Sattar started his career in 1969 as a Member of the Civil Service of Pakistan, where he served until 1983.
He later became the Vice Chancellor of Millennium University from 2007 to 2008.
Dr. Sattar holds a graduate degree from Boston University, a doctorate degree from Boston University (conferred in 1984), an undergraduate degree from the University of Dhaka (conferred in 1967), and a graduate degree from the University of Karachi (conferred in 1968).
