Mr. Walker has been Chairman of San Antonio Express-News since 2006.
He is a Trustee of Baptist Memorial Hospital and the CTRC Board of Trustees.
He is Chairman of the Free Trade Alliance San Antonio, the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the University of the Incarnate Word and China Incarnate Word, the McNay Art Museum, the San Antonio Golf Association, the San Antonio Medical Foundation, and the San Antonio Symphony.
He was Executive Vice President and Business Manager of the San Francisco Newspaper Agency for Hearst Corp.

Prior to joining Hearst, Mr. Walker was General Manager of Knight Ridder, Inc. and Controller of Grace & Co. He was Controller of the Dewey and Almay Chemical Division for W.R.
Grace & Co. from 1966 to 1971.
Previously, Mr. Walker was Chairman of the United Way of San Antonio & Bexar County, Vice Chairman of the San Antonio Sports Foundation as well as Co-Chairman of the University of Texas, San Antonio Development Board and San Antonio Health Science Center Development Board.
Mr. Walker received a BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia.
