Ms. Rosita Najmi is an Associate at Omidyar Network LLC.
Ms. Najmi has worked in international social and economic development since 2001, with a focus on financial sector development.
Prior to joining Omidyar Network in September 2012, she spent four years with the World Bank Group where she managed projects for the Finance and Private Sector Development Network, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Middle East and North Africa region, the World Bank Institute, and the Bank’s 2010 flagship publication, the World Development Report.
Additionally, she brings to ON seven years of experience leading programs at NGOs including Accion International, Mercy Corps, Tahirih Justice Center, and America’s Promise.
Ms. Najmi earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA with honors in Economics, French, and Politics from Wake Forest University.
While an undergraduate, she co-founded an international NGO serving the public health sector in Benin.
She served as its executive director and board member for 3 years.
