Rodger Du

Rodger joined Actis in 2018 as part of the acquisition of Standard Chartered Bank’s Principal Finance Real Estate group (PFRE) where he has been a member of the group’s Greater China investment team since 2014.
With over 13 years of experience in the Chinese Real Estate industry, his primary responsibilities at Actis include investment evaluation, underwriting, execution, asset management and divestment.
Prior to Actis, Rodger was Associate Director within the Real Estate Private Equity division of Everbright Group, a Chinese state-owned financial conglomerate.
Before that, Roger was an Associate of China Realty at Fortress Investment Group and an Analyst with the China Acquisition team at ING Real Estate Investment Management (currently CBRE Global Investors), primarily responsible for real estate project acquisition across China.
Rodger holds a B.Sc.
degree in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University, a M.Phil degree in Real Estate Finance from University of Cambridge and a M.DesS degree in Real Estate Development from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
He is also a CFA charter holder and a chartered surveyor with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
